Three generations
A retirement project that became a family business.
Loy Easter started Aloha in 1982, after he had retired. Time spent in Hawaii gave him the name, and North Houston’s long, hot swim seasons gave him the work. Three generations later, the company is still in the family.
Today it is run by Loy’s grandson, Brian Prewitt, who supervises our projects himself. Our office is still in Spring, on Marilyn Lane off FM 2920, and our crews work across 18areas from Klein and The Woodlands to Kingwood and Lake Conroe.
Today we handle almost everything a pool needs: weekly service, repairs and leak detection, equipment, replastering, tile, decks and full remodels —15 services from one company. We have been BBB accredited since 2003, with an A+ rating.
How we work
Four things we will not compromise on.
Find the real problem first
Most pool problems have a cheap cause and an expensive one that look the same. We test until we know which, because the most expensive repair is the one that fixes the wrong thing.
Tell people when they can fix it themselves
A clogged basket, a dried-out O-ring, a tripped GFCI. Our reviews mention this more than almost anything else, and we would rather keep a customer than bill a call-out.
Show the work
Weekly customers get a report after every visit, and every quote is in writing with each part priced. Nothing about pool care needs to be a mystery.
Do not use the cheapest parts
One customer put it better than we could: we do not use the cheapest products to cause problems later. Parts that fail next summer are not a saving.

With the Christmas holiday a few weeks away, we had our Spa/Hot Tub relay and some other equipment fail. I talked through our options with Brian and decided that we would go with a full automation system to replace what we had, a new heater, and LED lighting. I had been putting it off but now was the right time. The quote was very reasonable and Brian, Chris and Greg were able to get the work done the next week. Everything works great now and our family really enjoyed the new lighting. I highly recommend Aloha Swimming Pools!

We found Aloha from some rec's by our neighborhood after needing an attentive and better company to work with. I could not be happier with them. They offered us a competitive rate and have maintained stellar weekly service. We get reports with data, photos of before and after service, along with any commentary in regards to equipment needs or anything else that needs our attention or discussion. They have given advice and stopped by when I just had something I needed looked at and have also given me intelligent consult on other inquiries. I had to play Goldilocks and the 3 Bears to find them! They are the absolute best and helped me not only keep my pool sparkling but educated me a lot. They genuinely care, don’t use the cheapest products to cause problems later and are SMART ENOUGH to fix things. I had numerous issues with another company because they never knew how to actually fix anything. Brian showed up and fixed things instantly and went out of his way to help me numerous times. This should be your first stop for help with a pool.

Bought new house near Tupelo Park Jan 2025, Brian has been helping me with pool issues since I moved in. New pump, new chlorinate, new robo vacuum, fixed various leaks, repaired broken valve piece, and helped me reprogram my controller for new pool affects with the water features. Half of this stuff he did for me while I was on vacation and threw in a pool cleaning too too. 5-stars for sure. Super responsive, delivers what he says he will.

Why is a Texas pool company called Aloha?
Because of where the idea came from. Loy Easter started the company in 1982 after retiring, inspired by time he had spent in Hawaii, and he named it for the place. The name stuck through three generations. We keep the greeting and leave out the tiki torches.
Who runs Aloha Swimming Pools today?
Brian Prewitt, the founder’s grandson, runs the company and supervises its projects. Customers name him in their reviews more than anyone else, often because he was the one who came out and found the problem. When you call with something that matters, you can reach the people who run the business.
Are you a franchise?
No. Aloha is an independent, family-run company based in Spring, not part of a national franchise. There is no head office setting scripts or quotas. That is why we can tell you when a cheaper fix will do, and why the same family has answered for the work since 1982.
