No, and we would rather say so up front. Our routes cover North Houston — roughly the FM 1960 corridor, Champions, Willowbrook, Ponderosa Forest and the neighbourhoods between our Spring office and the Beltway. Inner-loop and south-side Houston are too far for reliable weekly service, and we would rather not promise what we cannot deliver.

Much of it is the clay. North Houston sits on heavy, expansive clay that moves significantly between wet and dry seasons, and forty-year-old plumbing under a pool deck eventually cracks at a fitting or joint. Pools that have been patched over the years also have more places for water to escape. A bucket test is the quick way to find out whether yours is leaking.

That is a large share of our work there. A typical Champions-area remodel is a new interior finish, new waterline tile and coping, LED lights and a variable-speed pump, sometimes with reshaped steps. The shells in these neighbourhoods are generally solid; it is the surfaces and equipment that are tired.

Not by area — weekly service is priced by the pool, not the postcode. Pool size, tree cover, whether there is a spa and whether chemicals are included set the price. The only difference North Houston makes is which route and day you are on.
