Most Porter pools we see are young — a few years old, with a salt system, variable-speed pump and a control panel the owner is not quite sure about. What those owners need is weekly service or a clear handover so they can do it themselves. Oakhurst, with its golf course, and the older wooded lots in Porter Heights have more established pools that need repair and occasional remodel work. Pine cover is heavy throughout.

Do you service new pools in Valley Ranch and the Porter subdivisions?
Yes. Most Porter pools we see are young, and their owners usually want either weekly service or a walkthrough so they understand the salt system, pump settings and controls. We are happy to do either, and we will not push weekly service on someone who would rather do it themselves.
How far is Porter from your office?
About 13 miles east, reached along the Grand Parkway. Porter is on our regular routes alongside Kingwood and New Caney. Weekly service is available in Valley Ranch and the surrounding subdivisions. Older wooded lots are confirmed case by case.
Why is my new Porter pool full of pine needles every week?
Porter was built into the Piney Woods, and many lots kept their tall pines. Needles slip through skimmer doors and pack into baskets, and the pollen season in spring can turn the surface yellow. More frequent basket and filter cleaning, and a leaf canister on the cleaner line, make a big difference.
Is my new pool equipment still under manufacturer coverage?
Many equipment manufacturers cover new pumps, heaters and salt systems for a period after installation, often with conditions about who services them. Check your builder’s paperwork before paying for a repair, and tell us the install date when you call. If something is covered, we would rather you use that coverage than pay us.
