Pool remodeling and renovation in Spring and North Houston. One planned project brings an older pool up to date: a new interior finish, waterline tile and coping, LED lighting, efficient equipment and, where it makes sense, reshaped steps or benches.

A pool built in the 1990s was built for a different decade — brass-look lights, a single-speed pump, blue-and-white tile nobody chooses any more, and plaster on its second or third life. Remodeling brings it up to date in one planned project instead of five separate repairs: a new interior finish, new waterline tile and coping, LED lighting, efficient equipment and, where it makes sense, reshaped steps or benches. It is the work we see most in Klein, Champions, Kingwood and the older Woodlands villages, where the pools are now as old as the trees around them.
New finish, tile, coping, steps, lighting and equipment for pools 15 to 30 years old — supervised by the owner.
We look at the whole pool — shell, tile, coping, deck edge, equipment, lighting — and sequence the work so nothing gets done twice.
Plaster, quartz or pebble, applied after the tile and coping work so the finish is the last thing to go in.
Waterline tile and coping replaced together, which is when the look of a pool changes the most.
Awkward corner steps replaced with wide entry steps, benches added, or a tanning ledge where there is room.
Colour-changing LEDs and a variable-speed pump are the upgrades customers notice every day and every electricity bill.
Owner Brian supervises each project. One customer wrote that we transformed their pool in less than a week and it looks brand new.
Why people call us
How it works

Timing. Remodel searches peak in February and March. Plan in winter, build in spring, swim in summer — and book early, because the spring calendar fills first.
What you like, what bothers you, and what you want the pool to do that it does not. We look at the structure while we are there.
A scope that lists each element — finish, tile, coping, steps, lighting, equipment — with prices, so you can adjust it.
Pool drained, any reshaping and repairs done, then tile and coping set.
New lights, pump and controls installed while the pool is open and the pad is accessible.
The new interior goes in last, followed by careful start-up and a hand-back walk-through.
How it is priced
A written price, before work starts
Remodel prices vary widely because the scope does. A new finish with new tile and coping on a typical backyard pool is the simplest version; adding reshaped steps, LED lighting, a variable-speed pump and automation moves it up. Our written scope prices each element separately, so you can see what each change costs and decide what matters.
We look at the pool first, then give you a written price. Nothing starts until you have agreed to it.
We come out, look at the pool and give you a written price. No charge and no obligation.
Owner Brian supervises each project. You can reach the people who run the company, not a call centre.
We diagnose before we sell, and tell you when something is a simple fix you could do yourself.

I met Brian and the Aloha team when they did my pool remodel a couple of years ago. I was so happy with the job they did and their professionalism that I hired them to do my weekly pool maintenance. My pool always looks outstanding and is ready for family fun.
Where we do it
Before you call
Something not answered here? Call (832) 528-4979 — we would rather talk it through than have you guess.
In the vast majority of cases, yes. A concrete pool shell that is structurally sound can last for decades; what wears out is the finish, tile, coping and equipment, and those are exactly what a remodel replaces. Removing and rebuilding a pool costs several times more. The exception is a shell with serious structural movement, which we will tell you about at the first visit.
A finish-plus-tile-and-coping remodel is usually a matter of a couple of weeks from draining to swimming, weather permitting. Adding reshaped steps, new plumbing or major equipment work adds time. We give you a realistic schedule in the written scope and tell you straight away if weather pushes it.
The ones you notice every time you use the pool: a smooth new finish, modern waterline tile and coping, and LED lighting. On the running-cost side, a variable-speed pump pays back in electricity savings. Water features and automation are lovely but more personal. We will suggest what we think earns its keep and leave the rest to you.
Both are common. Sellers often want a clean finish and working equipment so the pool is an asset in the listing photos rather than an inspection note. Buyers of older homes frequently call us in the first months to plan a remodel once they have lived with the pool through a season. Either way we will separate what needs doing from what is nice to have.

We come out, look at the pool properly, and put a written price together before any work starts.
